It was very quick call to have such event but a special call from my former Tamil school teacher Mdm. Gaury Paramanathan who is now principal of the school. I would like to express my gratitude for inviting me to conduct astronomy program in her school . Also thanking the rest of teachers and students who attended the program . Thanks to all !!!

This is the first time I was needed to conduct the astronomy program all alone. So I didn't had chance to take any of the event pictures while conducting the program, except at the end of the event where I had chance to take a group picture with some of the teachers and students.

The school held 2 days and 1 night motivation program to their Std 6 students who will be sitting for UPSR exam very soon . And this required camping so I have been invited to have my Astronomy program along .

I have tried to conduct the theory session (particularly) in a different way unlike my earlier methods. I started with a virtual space tour along with students. Virtually I bring them to visit the our Solar System and then I played a video which is on the space travel . The very essential part in Astronomy is Imagination, that's what I believe in .

It is very interesting to see how teachers responded on seeing the Saturn . WOW is the most used word . Students equally enjoyed the observation session too .

In the early morning, started at 5am, I showed Pleiades and The Great Andromeda Galaxy . In fact showing galaxy is not part of my plan but interestingly sky was co-operated well .

Well, it was good experience in overall . Thanks to the school management.

Despite the successfullness of the event, what makes me happier is I had chance to do something in return to my primary school teacher, thru this Astronomy program to her school now .
